Overview Contract Duration: 12 months initially-long term The English version will follow: Due to Controlled Goods Program regulations, only candidates with eligibility for clearance (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident) can be considered Responsibilities Analyze internal components to determine their fatigue lives and to validate their structural integrity. Propose tests to validate the analyses and follow up on the test results. Execute analytical activities to solve mechanical design problems on existing engines. Produce engineering documents to communicate analytical results. Qualifications Connaissances logiciel pertinentes: CATIA, ANSYS (or other FE software), EXCEL, AVL Simulation Suite, MATLAB, Python. University degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering; a master’s degree in engineering is considered an advantage. Experience in test analysis. Analytical thinking, teamwork, rigor, and result orientation. Good general understanding of mechanical concepts and of strength of materials theories. Proficiency in English sufficient to read and understand technical documentation and to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues; this position is part of a French-speaking work environment.
