Overview Role: OpenText xPression Architect Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba Duration: Full-time Responsibilities Work with the architecture team to define the architecture / standards for xPression Work with client architects, development team and business analysis to understand requirements Responsible for high level and low level design of how xPression would fit into the IT landscape Ability to integrate xPression with different upstream systems Hands-on work with xPression components such as xDesign, xBatch, xDashboard, xServer, xPresso, etc Assist infrastructure team around system configurations if required Work on complex documents on xDesign and, if required, on xPresso Collaborate with different upstream teams to define XML schemas Design services using xFramework Lead all xPression development and maintenance activities Guide the team on xPression standards and review deliverables Skills required Hands-on experience architecting solutions using OpenText xPression Familiar with xPression components – xDesign, xBatch, xDashboard, xServer, xPresso for word Hands-on experience with versions 4.2, 4.5 and 4.6 (preferred) Knowledge of xQuery module and xFramework APIs Experience designing and developing complex documents like policy packets, consolidated statements, complex tables, etc Knowledge of print formats like AFP, Postscript and eDelivery formats like PDF, PDF/A, PDF/VT, etc Knowledge of XML standards Java / J2EE RDBMS – Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server Ability to design solutions and lead the team Good communication skills – written / spoken Application instructions Please respond with your word resume and requested details: Full Name Work Authorization Contact Number Email ID Skype ID Current location Willing to relocate Salary All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
