About the Role The Spot Market Pricing Specialist is responsible for identifying, pricing, and winning spot market opportunities across North America. This role is designed for someone with strong commercial instincts, a high sense of urgency, and a desire to grow within the industry. Success in this position comes from speed, market awareness, and the ability to balance risk and reward in real time. This is a high‑exposure, fast‑paced role that supports company growth. Key Accountabilities Actively monitor and price spot market opportunities across load boards, customer portals, and internal requests Quickly assess market conditions, capacity availability, and price volatility to generate competitive, executable pricing Work closely with sales and operations to convert spot quotes into booked freight Identify margin opportunities and flag high‑risk or low‑probability of success before execution Track wins, losses, and market trends to continuously refine pricing strategies Maintain market intelligence on lane volatility, seasonal shifts, and capacity constraints Provide feedback to the broader pricing and commercial teams on spot market trends and opportunities Position Requirements Strong desire to compete, win, and grow.
