Industrial Automation | End-to-End Project Delivery This role is focused on design, programming, and commissioning of control systems in real-world production environments. You’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to commissioning, working across industries such as automotive, food & beverage, steel, and water/wastewater. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys being both technical and field-facing, with the ability to independently execute and troubleshoot systems on-site. Key Responsibilities Develop, program, and debug PLC and HMI/SCADA systems Execute system commissioning, FATs, and SATs Troubleshoot and resolve issues under real production conditions Collaborate with electrical designers, project managers, and customers Support multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision Ensure systems meet performance, safety, and customer requirements Multiple positions, open to hearing from those who are senior, outside of the comp range. Qualifications Minimum 35 years of direct, hands‑on controls engineering experience in an industrial environment Demonstrated experience with PLC programming (Rockwell and/or Siemens required) Proven ability to perform system commissioning independently at customer sites Experience with HMI/SCADA development (FactoryTalk, WinCC, Ignition, or equivalent) Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs Strong troubleshooting capability in live production environments Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for on‑site commissioning (Home every night) PLC platforms: Allen-Bradley ControlLogix / CompactLogix, Siemens S7/TIA Portal HMI/SCADA systems: FactoryTalk View, Ignition, WinCC, or similar Industrial networks: Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP Motion control and VFD integration Instrumentation and process control (level, flow, pressure, temperature) Panel design collaboration and I/O validation Start‑up, commissioning, and production support Why Is This a Great Opportunity Hands‑On Controls Role | Growing Integrator Design, program, commission full lifecycle PLC/HMI: Allen Bradley & Siemens Automotive, packaging, process On‑site, hands‑on, not desk‑bound Build and lead the team, real ownership Stable, well‑established, scaling up Overtime, Extended Health & Dental, RRSP Matching Salary Type : Annual Salary Salary Min : CA$ 35 Salary Max : CA$ 52 Currency Type : CAD #J-18808-Ljbffr
