We offer a personalized alternative to the larger chain hotels, with a focus on consistent service and direct relationships with our guests and corporate partners.The Role As a key member of the hotel leadership team, the Director of Sales has accountability for revenue generation and the marketing efforts of the property. This is a hands‑on, proactive role suited to someone who builds real relationships and drives measurable results.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute an annual sales plan targeting corporate transient, group, and banquet segmentsProactively solicit new business through sales calls, prospecting, site inspections, and industry events including out of town travel when necessaryAttending Best Western events where appropriateManage key accounts and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and travel trade partnersConduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities; negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clientsRepresent the hotel at Destination Vancouver and relevant industry eventsQualificationsMinimum 3–5 years of hotel sales experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or director-level roleProven track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targetsExperience with PMS/CRM systems; familiarity with Best Western or branded hotel systems an assetStrong knowledge of the Vancouver corporate and group marketExcellent communication, listening, and negotiation skills; self-motivated with a results-oriented mindsetWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary + performance incentiveExtended health and dental benefitsDirect access to ownership and leadership#J-18808-Ljbffr
