JOB STATEMENT Guardian Capital Group is seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Systems Analyst with deep Financial Services Cloud (FSC) expertise to drive the evolution of its Salesforce platform. This role sits at the intersection of business analysis, solution design, and hands‑on system configuration , partnering closely with Wealth Management, Advisory, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams. The successful candidate will own functional requirements, translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions, and independently configure FSC using declarative tools—ensuring a secure, compliant, and user‑centric CRM environment that supports Guardian’s long‑term growth strategy. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Business Analysis & Functional Strategy (BSA Focus) Discovery & Requirements: Lead workshops with financial stakeholders (Wealth Managers, Advisors, Compliance, Operations) to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and document business processes. Process Mapping & Documentation: Translate complex financial needs into functional specifications, User Stories, process flows, and Data Models. FSC Best Practices: Act as a functional expert to advocate for Out‑of‑the‑Box (OOTB) FSC functionality over custom code to ensure sustainability. Agile Delivery: Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring deliverables align with business objectives. FSC Configuration: Hands‑on configuration of FSC data models, including Household modeling, Person Accounts, Financial Accounts, and Advisor Workspaces. Automation: Build complex declarative automations using Salesforce Flow, Action Plans, Interaction Summaries, and validation rules. Security & User Management: Manage user access, profiles, permission sets, and field-level security tailored to financial compliance standards. Data Integrity & Management: Utilize Data Loader for data migration, perform data audits, and maintain data hygiene. Reporting & Analytics: Create customized dashboards and reports for tracking KPIs, such as "Assets Under Management" (AUM) or "Household Relationships". 3. Project Management & Support Environment Management: Manage Salesforce sandboxes and support DevOps/release management Support & Training: Provide end-user support, act as first escalation point for Salesforce production issues, resolve support tickets, and create training documentation to drive adoption. Integration Support: Validate data quality between Salesforce and core banking/document management systems. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor degree, preferably in relevant field 6–8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, Administrator, or hybrid role Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Deep understanding of FSC data model (Households, Contacts, Financial Accounts, Relationships) Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (JIRA, user stories, UAT) Exceptional communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Ability to be in office in Toronto 2-4 days per week PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator Salesforce Certified Business Analyst Platform App Builder Domain Experience (Good to Have) Wealth Management or Insurance (Policy lifecycle, Client onboarding). Regulatory compliance knowledge (GDPR, PIPEDA, FINRA). COMPENSATION The base salary range is expected to be between $90,000 - $120,000, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
