Purpose of the role A Junior Budget Project Manager supports the Client Accounting team by assisting in managing all client financials accurately and promptly. Responsibilities Assist in managing all client financials, ensuring accuracy across all disciplines. Review unbilled media reports and provide commentary to the Finance team for reporting. Ensure timely resolution of unbilled/uncleared media to mitigate financial risks. Serve as a liaison between the client’s budget management group and the client team(s) to coordinate projects. Support strong client relationships by preparing reporting outputs and troubleshooting as needed. Attend internal and external meetings related to client financials; utilize project management tools like Hive Finance Workflow. Perform all Budget Project Coordinator functions and assist where necessary. Oversee and assist in managing client workload; contribute to training and development of BPC. Assist in reviewing client financial reporting for the agency (AR/AP). Review planned vs. ordered monthly figures; explain variances with the CBL. Maintain a central filing system for client files and implement operational policies and best practices. Monitor billing practices to ensure compliance with client requirements. Ensure contractual obligations are met; review and maintain client account mapping. Assist with audit deliverables such as SOX, KPMG, client audits, and compliance. Prepare and update client budgets in TM1 and assist with year-end budget accruals. Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance. Key Qualifications Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite. Proactive in suggesting improvements and new ways of working. Strong organizational skills for managing tasks and facilitating team activities. Effective communication skills tailored to different stakeholders. Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions. Experience with hands-on budget management, ideally within the media industry.
