Role Factory Test Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of in‑process and finished liquid cooling products through robust factory testing. The role applies industrial expertise in test processes, sensing techniques, signal conditioning, and electromechanical systems, with a strong understanding of heat transfer and fluid dynamics. The specialist drives continuous improvement in factory test methods, improves first‑pass yield, and collaborates closely with the factory test team to meet financial targets and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Safety & Compliance Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to create a safe working environment. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection, as required. Actively participate in safety training sessions and promptly report any safety concerns or hazards. Comply with industry regulations and company policies to ensure proper handling of electro‑mechanical components and systems. Quality Defining and driving factory test requirements during New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. Collaborate cross‑functionally with design, test and qualification, manufacturing engineering and manufacturing teams, especially in DFM discussions. Documenting in‑process and end‑of‑line factory test procedures for liquid cooling products. Implementing in‑process and end‑of‑line factory test procedures for liquid cooling products in CoolIT MES system. Designing manufacturing test equipment. Lead root cause investigations for complex yield escapes and customer returns using structured problem‑solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, Fishbone, Fault Tree Analysis). Define and maintain statistical process control (SPC) frameworks for critical‑to‑quality (CTQ) parameters. Establish Cp/Cpk capability requirements and validate process capability prior to production ramp. Who You Are Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial testing, lab testing or manufacturing environment. Academic courses in the field of testing, controls, signal conditioning or related coursework. Preferred Qualifications: EIT designation. Skills Proficiency in Python or a similar programming language. Proficiency in statistical methods and software (such as Minitab). Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on complex data sets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when dealing with cross‑functional teams. High attention to detail and process‑oriented mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced engineering/manufacturing environment. Strong collaboration and problem‑solving abilities with a proactive approach.
