Director of Finance and Administration – Canada Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance and Administration to join our team. This position will play a critical role on our senior leadership team and oversee the financial operations, compliance, and administration of the Company. This role will be based in our Hamilton office and will be responsible for all of Canada. The Director of Finance and Administration will report to the President of D'Angelo and Sons with dotted-line accountability to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Human Resources Officers of Infinity Home Services. Key Responsibilities Finance Lead the Canadian finance team through all aspects of a multi-entity monthly financial close process in accordance with US GAAP. This includes adherence to the Company’s accounting policies, preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and reviewing results for accuracy. Help develop the annual financial budget in collaboration with the Company’s leadership team. Oversee payroll processing for the Country, ensuring compliance, data integrity, and efficiency in process. Conduct variance and forecasting analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis. Prepare scenario analyses on an ongoing basis. Identify and track key business KPIs. Prepare the monthly and quarterly financial reporting to the Company’s leadership team and US Parent including the monthly financial statements, job costing reports, and monthly rolling forecast. Assist with the Company’s Treasury function. Human Resources and Compliance: Serve as the Human Resources liaison to the US HR team, supporting teams with programs, policies, and practices to support and enhance the culture. Lead all compliance related activities across the Canadian footprint. Serve as the liaison to all third party legal, tax, and compliance partners. Proactively identify issues and opportunities to guide the company’s decision-making process. Manage insurance programs and lead the Canadian approach to enterprise risk and workplace safety. M&A Provide leadership across the Company’s M&A activities from initial evaluation through deal execution, diligence, and integration. Manage all aspects of legal and financial recordkeeping and integration related to deals. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, ideally in a multi-location or home services environment. Experience with other functions such as Human Resources, Risk, and Compliance preferred. Proven experience in financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. A strong ability to translate numbers into narratives and action. Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, laws, and best practices. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and US GAAP. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership with a people first mindset that recognizes every operational decision has a human impact.
