This results-oriented “player-coach" uses deep media and market intelligence expertise to lead a team, translate complex data into strategic, data-driven recommendations, and optimize local marketing investments while building franchise partner confidence and cross-functional alignment.Key ResponsibilitiesFranchise Partner Media & Investment Strategy: Utilize and deploy national and local media frameworks in partnership with internal Paid Media teams and external agencies to design, deploy, and influence adoption of national and local media frameworks. Lead the integrated planning process to drive and optimize franchise level investment to effectively support meeting brand objectives.Franchise Account Leadership & Relationship Strategy: Oversee the Account Managers and provide day‑to‑day portfolio support, leveraging data analytics tools to deliver robust marketing performance reviews. Serve as the primary lead for system‑wide partner relations and change management, guiding franchise owners through local media planning and high‑stakes transitions, including mergers, acquisitions, and new location start‑ups.Performance Data Storytelling & Franchise Advocacy: Act as the primary media advocate for franchise partners, translating sophisticated data, competitor research, and market performance trends into clear, actionable insights. Partner with Paid Media and agency vendors to build compelling business cases, ensuring all media investment recommendations are strategically justified and clearly communicated to both small‑business owners and experienced marketers.Local Market Intelligence & Localized Growth: Leverage existing market‑level data to evaluate franchise performance, competitive dynamics, media efficiency, and customer demand trends. Translate this data into actionable investment recommendations that help franchise partners identify market opportunities, bridge investment gaps, and improve localized profitability.Cross‑Team Collaboration & Functional Alignment: Serve as the strategic bridge between Franchise Marketing and the Paid Media team, integrating local franchise priorities and market dynamics into broader media strategy. This involves close collaboration with Paid Media channel owners and agency partners.Process Maintenance & Strategic Enablement: Evaluate, improve, and scale existing planning frameworks, reporting standards, and investment methodologies to drive consistency across franchise markets.
