Job Title Sr Account Manager , Bonnyville, AB area. Job Summary This position independently manages a portion of the district portfolio with significant accountability to gain new business, bundle products, anticipate customer needs, and pursue target business opportunities. It involves negotiating less complex customer deals, counseling district representatives, coaching moderate-sized customers, and acting as a formal advisor on training curriculum. Key Responsibilities Work closely with current customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans to maintain and grow sales within the assigned territory. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new customers, including plant or facility executives. Generate and execute sales plans in the assigned customer base to meet defined territory profit increase goals. Provide technical support to customers, identify and resolve customer requests, and escalate as required. Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to ensure optimal customer operations. Actively sell and support ChampionX innovations and technology to promote long‑term business relationships. Travel within the assigned sales territory as required. Reside in the Bonnyville, AB area. Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. Complete drug and alcohol testing as part of a safety‑sensitive position. Minimum Qualifications 5–10 years of chemical sales or related experience, including power engineering or chemical engineering. Previous petrochemical experience. Ability to relate to customers and understand their needs. Ability to build relationships with external stakeholders. Account leadership experience calling on multilevel plants or facilities management to achieve company goals. High computer application literacy (Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems). History of working autonomously in the field and demonstrating self‑motivation. Prior experience that demonstrates strong work ethic and the ability to multitask. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.). Experience requiring excellent communication skills. Experience requiring excellent organizational skills. Account leadership experience similar to the minimum requirement. Experience working in the oil and gas industry. Physical Demands Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 55 pounds chest high. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
