Utilizing automation, manual testing, or semi-automated methods, you will contribute to the verification of software against established standards and the validation of its functionality.In addition to testing, you may be required to contribute to the development and enhancement of automated tools, internal tools, and infrastructure to support scalability. Ensuring quality and performance of application to specificationsIdentifying potential problems and working with developers to resolve application bottlenecks. Supporting failure analysis and root cause analysis for test and integration issuesMaintaining electronic parts and equipment on test benches and test vehiclesGrowing your skills with continual learning, workshops, conferences, and talksThis position requires hands‑on physical interaction with the hardware and the Rivian and VW vehicles in the PA or Vancouver officeQualifications Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master degree in Computer Science or Software/Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.5+ year hands‑on experience on software development or test cycle.3+ year hands‑on experience on software test cycle including test strategies, test plans and test cases from low level to high level software.2+ years with Automotive, CAN, Android logs, UDS, DTC and Ethernet experienceFamiliar with Linux systems and able to write shell, bash scripts. Good at writing automation scripts and using Python to parse data.Familiarity with code versioning tools including Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket and others. Use Git bashExperience with the best‑in‑class Software development practices and DevOps practicesExperience with electronic parts with firmware, electrical equipment and other hardwareFamiliarity with Android Frameworks and platforms, MacOS, Linux and Windows. Be able to configure and manage these platformsTop‑notch teamwork and communication skills.
