Position Summary Accountable for completion of design tasks and projects from concept to implementation. This will include all related design activities, including calculations, communications, models/drawings, programs, and bill of material updates through Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs). What You Will Do Completes design tasks and project assignments which support field service activities Coordinates own tasks, including providing task status updates and recording time on each task Creates electrical designs that meet customer specifications, technical summaries and other contract documents and ensure designs are within manufacturing abilities Performs engineering calculations and analysis to ensure compliance with design criteria and all applicable regulations. Completes controlled testing of components and installations in order to meet contractual obligations, ensure product reliability and verify component fit Completes technical drawings and release documents in accordance with Engineering procedures and ENAs (Notices of Action) Provides Engineering support to SES (Service Engineering Support). As required, provides engineering support to Production, Quality Assurance, Customer Service Support, and other departments Other duties as assigned What You Need to Be Successful University Degree or Technical Diploma Eligible for registration with EGM/CTTAM Troubleshooting/diagnostics an asset Manufacturing & Assembly an asset Strong CAD/Unigraphics, Drafting. Demonstrated ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong teamwork, problem solving and communication skills.
