This schedule may change depending on business needs.About The Role Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, Facilities & Maintenance, the Junior Maintenance Planner/Scheduler reviews work requests, evaluates scope, allocates resources, and works with impacted teams to schedule activities that avoid costly downtime and interruptions. The position also periodically reviews asset metadata and develops robust job plans to keep systems accurate and data integrity strong. This role works closely with maintenance site, regional, and organizational leadership to keep maintenance operations running smoothly and reflects HelloFresh DNA and company principles.What You Will Be DoingForecast PM work and load‑balance daily workload based on available labor and material resources.Review incoming maintenance requests, evaluate criticality, scope, and needed resources with site technicians or management.Oversee compilation, organization, and maintenance of all documentation required for BRC, CFIA, and other regulatory audits, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility as per established standards and timelines.Maintain the PM Tasks list.Evaluate equipment and request scope and document clear, concise, descriptive job plans for job completion.Coordinate with external contractors.Evaluate safety hazards and PPE requirements to ensure safety of all maintenance staff and building associates.Estimate required labor, materials, and tools; ensure availability prior to scheduling, including necessary documentation such as drawings and manuals.Work with site inventory specialist or leadership to kit and book parts against the correct work request before scheduling.Communicate with site operations and maintenance leadership to schedule work and keep impacted parties informed; adjust plans as needed.Review and report work backlog to management regularly to drive on‑time completion of all requests and predictive/preventive maintenance tasks.Review downtime data, identify potential warranty issues, and elevate them to maintenance leadership and inventory specialist as needed.Ensure equipment records and metadata are correct; audit equipment lines against CMMS to verify accurate asset data.Create and enroll new equipment in CMMS, ensuring metadata completeness.Communicate with maintenance leaders and technicians to continually improve planning processes and job plans.Collaborate with other planner/schedulers in the network to share best practices and educate each other.Support related duties such as training new MRE staff, assisting Business Operations with CMMS use, and launching new buildings.Work in compliance with OH&S acts and regulations.Other duties as assigned.At a Minimum, You Have1+ year of experience in a maintenance environment, preferably with planning and scheduling.Post‑secondary education in Mechanical or Electro‑Mechanical Engineering Diploma or equivalent work experience.Experience with material handling equipment systems, including installation, operation, and general maintenance best practices.Proficient or advanced knowledge of CMMS systems, preferably FMX and/or Fiix.Experience with standard office administrative software (document, spreadsheet, slide presentation).Proficient in reviewing data for accuracy, anomalies, and trends, and able to discuss findings with maintenance leadership.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, and diagrams.Ability to multitask when needed.High integrity, ethics, and excellent follow‑through.Ability to work in cold environments.What You’ll Get In ReturnCompetitive salary and health benefits.Shift premiums available for afternoon and overnight shifts.75% discount on HelloFresh or Chefs Plate weekly box subscription.High impact work to help feed thousands of families in Canada.Opportunity to learn and grow.Work with a hard‑working and supportive team.Working Conditions As a food company, we use many ingredients that may be considered common allergens (e.g., peanuts, tree nuts, milk, etc.).
