Required Competencies Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace or closely related Previous experience in control systems engineering including hardware and/or software development Practical knowledge of PLC programming tools (Allen-Bradley and Siemens) including ladder logic and structured text and/or low-level programming language such as C Practical knowledge of methods and modeling tools for systems, such as MATLAB and Simulink Member of the Quebec Order of Engineers (OIQ), or eligible to become one Very good command of English language, written and spoken Intermediate level of French, written and spoken Experience producing / executing validation and verification plans and testing scripts Ability in structuring and solving complex problems Miscellaneous Requirements Hybrid role – it is mandatory to be in office 3 days per week (Montreal office) Ability and willingness to learn new specialties Excellent time management skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Independent personality Effective management of stakeholders Engagement towards a culture of belonging Commitment to personal development and continuous improvement The position might require travel to visit customers and support site commissioning.
