This role acts as a trusted partner to employees and managers, ensuring a positive employee experience while supporting business objectives.You will be a true generalist—equally comfortable managing employee relations, coordinating engagement initiatives, supporting HR programs, and handling day-to-day HR operations. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and enjoys building structure while staying close to people.Key Responsibilities & Job Duties Employee Relations & SupportAct as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and guidanceSupport managers with employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, and performance issuesEnsure consistent, fair, and compliant application of company policies and employment legislationPromote a respectful, inclusive, and high-performance workplace cultureEmployee Experience & EngagementLead and support the Social Committee, driving engagement initiatives across locationsPlan and execute employee events, recognition programs, and culture-building activitiesDesign, launch, and analyze employee engagement surveys; recommend and track action plansGather employee feedback and provide insights to leadershipHR Programs & OperationsSupport the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, development, and off‑onboardingMaintain accurate employee records and HR documentationAssist with policy development, updates, and communicationPartner with payroll and benefits teams to support employee questions and changesPerformance & DevelopmentSupport performance management processes, including reviews and corrective actionsCoach managers on feedback, documentation, and employee developmentHelp drive consistency and accountability across teamsCompliance & ReportingEnsure compliance with Canadian employment standards and company policiesSupport audits, reporting, and HR metrics tracking (turnover, engagement, etc.)Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee informationQualifications & Key Competencies5+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or similar roleStrong knowledge of Canadian employment legislationExperience handling employee relations issues and supporting investigationsProven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organizationStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication, judgment, and problem‑solving skillsComfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environmentCHRP/CHRL designation (or working toward) is an asset#J-18808-Ljbffr
