Senior Project Manager – Buildings Division (Permanent FT, Office-based, Canada) We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager to support the Buildings Division, reporting to the Project Director. The role involves delivering complex projects from estimate through close‑out, encompassing schedule, cost, quality, safety, subcontracting, labour, and equipment for Level 2 and entry Level 3 projects. Key Responsibilities Lead complex construction projects from estimate to close‑out, providing full accountability across schedule, cost, quality, safety, subcontracting, labour, and equipment. Own project financial performance, including cost reporting, forecasting, change management, progress invoicing, margin management, and risk, claims, dispute resolution. Build, lead, and develop high‑performing project teams: selecting key personnel, mentoring project managers and superintendents, setting clear expectations, and fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement. Manage client and stakeholder relationships, acting as a senior point of contact to proactively resolve issues, maintain partnerships, and ensure alignment with project objectives and business strategy. Champion health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) by leading safety culture, implementing project‑specific safety and quality programs, complying with regulatory requirements, and driving measurable HSEQ performance outcomes. Qualifications Education & Credentials : Technical trade certificate with extensive field and project management background; Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma preferred, along with formal leadership training and proficiency using construction and project management systems. Experience : Minimum eight (8) years of direct project management experience, with proven ability to lead complex Level 2 and entry‑level Level 3 projects. Experience delivering healthcare, airport, institutional (e.g., recreation centres, schools), defence projects is preferred; hospital and/or residential project experience is a strong asset. Skills & Technical Expertise : Advanced expertise in construction execution, financial and cost control, scheduling, subcontractor procurement, contract and change management, risk mitigation, and HSEQ, supported by strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Compensation Salary Range: $165,000 to $185,000 per annum. Three to five weeks of vacation, with additional credit for prior industry experience.
