Responsibilities Work closely with the General Manager Oversee Supply Chain Operations Manage customer and carrier relationships Negotiate freight rates with carriers for domestic and cross-border TL and LTL Cultivate strong relationships with key customers After hours’ rotation to assist with resolving issues Grow and maintain existing and new carrier or customer relationships Understand and utilize RMIS to its full potential Perform work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail Collaborate with the team to provide solutions to customers Organize and sort through email inbox to ensure the team has visibility to the appropriate emails Transition spot quote customers into dedicated customers Improve on win % on a daily basis Follow up with customers for additional lanes Identify areas of weakness problem solve with team to correct Present new ideas and implement them for maximum profitability. Experience 3 years of Logistics experience in a team lead, supervisory or management capacity 3 years of cross border freight experience Exceptional communication and negotiation skills Knowledge of Load link, RMIS, UFOS, PC miler, Trucker Tool #J-18808-Ljbffr
