We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Developer based in Canada and located near one of our hub locations (Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver). All hub-based Clions are expected to be in the office for a minimum of twice per week on one of our Anchor Days. Team The IT Systems team at Clio operates at the intersection of emerging technology and operational scale. We lean into a modern tech stack, experimenting with novel solutions to solve complex problems. Our mission is to eliminate friction by replacing air-prone and tedious manual tasks with robust, scalable automation frameworks. You will have a high degree of autonomy to shape our automation strategy and influence the technical culture of the team. Responsibilities Identify opportunities for automation throughout the company and implement solutions that improve the velocity of Clions all over the globe, using tools such as Okta Workflows, Workato, or code. Dive into unknown technical systems or business domains, learning their idiosyncrasies and mechanisms to build robust and informed integrations. Deploy and maintain infrastructure for our internal services using Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS Lambda. Continuously grow and strive to push technical boundaries. Partner with other teams and departments across the organization to understand bottlenecks and pain points, and develop automations to solve for them. Act as a mentor for junior members of the team. Qualifications & Experience Practical experience with Infra as Code tools such as Terraform. Practical experience in at least two of the following: Ruby, Python, Bash/Shell, Golang. In-depth knowledge in administration of common SaaS environments such as Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, etc. Knowledge of modern MDM systems for both macOS and Windows. Fluency in modern API standards such as REST and GraphQL, and authentication mechanisms commonly used. Ability to leverage CI and CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Buildkite, etc. Practical familiarity with iPaaS tools such as Workato, Okta Workflows, or Boomi. Experience with leveraging AI to increase velocity. Compensation & Benefits The expected salary range for this role is $125,500 to $169,700 CAD.
