The position requires extensive travel (90%) including driving on client/customer property. Field Service is a fast‑paced job providing great variety, with entry engineers working closely with senior engineers and the District Engineer.Specific DutiesCollect and evaluate field data.Work with customers, account executives, vendors and sublet vendors with assistance and guidance from the District Engineer or senior engineer.Prepare technical reports including service and special reports.Work as part of commissioning teams on project start‑ups.Perform site activities including boiler inspections, condition assessments, and boiler operation evaluations.Provide construction technical support and outage management.Work on estimates and proposals for equipment upgrades.This position will service Alberta and other provinces as needed. The incumbent will work from the Edmonton Alberta office and possibly at home during certain times. The role requires extensive travel (90%) including driving on client/customer property and may be required with short notice.Education And/or Relevant Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or 5–7 years of relevant experience in lieu.
