The Sr. Analyst position is responsible for managing client relationships, monitoring campaign performance, as well as managing data to deliver campaign insights. They must possess excellent active listening skills to understand client needs. Have the ability to translate those needs into trading objectives, the willingness to implement trading strategies into trading systems, as well as dive deep into large data sets, execute analysis, and develop advertiser insights. The Sr. Analyst works to ensure campaigns run smoothly - troubleshooting technical issues, delivering reports, and optimizing campaigns to client objectives, while delivering valuable insights to the client. They also work collaboratively with their peers, sharing trading and campaign insights with the group.Sr. Analyst reports into the Sr. ManagerResponsibilities Include:Client EngagementManage client campaigns including; strategy development, project management, report delivery, and client communication.Assist with new business proposal creation and distributionAs requested, work directly with partners or vendors to become fluent in new features, capabilities and/or troubleshoot client campaign issuesInterface and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to develop a deep understanding of the capabilities and limits of the technologies we employ, including DSPs, DFA, Data providers, etc.Communicates day-to-day performance to clients as neededCommunicates & executes requirements/needs with internal agencies to hit client KPI'sPlanning and OptimizationSet up campaigns accurately in different systems, ensuring ad tags and creative are loaded correctly into the systems. If appropriate, make sure the creatives are approved before campaign launch date.Master media buying-related technologies, including DSPs, DMP, 3rd party ad servers and manual exchangesUnderstand client performance objectives and develop successful strategies to meet them, and then someHands-on execution and in-the-field management of client campaignsStrong understanding of PHD best practices and when to apply them on client campaignsAdvanced level understanding of campaign, ad server, impression, and user data that can help capitalize on key drivers of performance and identify opportunities for account growthTranslates advanced campaign goals to Optimization tactics across all platformsExecutes advanced QA standards across assigned campaignsExecutes basic & advanced reporting analysis using PHD and 3rd party planning, activation & measurement toolsManages Salesforce at the account level inclusive of plugs as neededLearns advanced trading and optimization across all platformsInsightsWrite and run data queries using appropriate analytic software programs (eg. SQL, Excel pivots, Qlikview) leveraging impression, user data, ad server informationOrganize and pivot data information in a digestible fashionResponsible for thoroughly understanding all data targeting solutions under AIPProvide strategic campaign measurement recommendations that correlate to the targeting and brand objectivesProvides in-field support to the regional AM team as subject matter expert on campaign insights.Acts as liaison between Programmatic Solutions and Analytics/ Data Sciences teams to ensure PHD is building and streamlining automated Insights toolsApply query techniques to make sense of impression, click, and action data.Required Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Applied Sciences, Operations Research or Industrial Engineering degrees strongly preferredExperience analyzing and drawing recommendations from large datasets using analytics software including; SQL, Excel, Tableau, Access, Qlikview, SAS, and MS Access, strongly preferred.Digital experience: 1- 2 years’ experience in console, DSP, GDN, Ad Network, Publisher, Media Optimization, or SEM strongly preferredDiversity & Inclusion Omnicom Media Group Canada is committed to having a workplace that respects diversity and inclusion as reflected in the various designated groups.
