Job Description Under the general direction of the Director of Organizational Effectiveness, the Specialist, Human Resources (Systems & Projects) is the primary administrator for Oracle HCM Cloud learning management system (CONNECT Learning) and integrated tools, overseeing installation of all system updates, upgrades and other software integrated with CONNECT Learning. The Specialist is responsible for the support, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of CONNECT Learning, and also provides support to the HR Systems & Projects team for various CONNECT processes and projects. The Specialist also supports other modules such as Core HR, Absence, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, and Reporting. The position provides learning management system administration and support and technical set‑up of system functionality. This is a fixed‑term contract position with an expected end date of August 2027. Key Accountabilities Oversee and develop learning enrollment management and user support materials Solve technical problems; investigate and seek solutions to system issues Complete needs analysis and determine system requirements for future phases of CONNECT Learning or new business requirements, present findings to stakeholders Upload courses, policies, training, acknowledgements, necessary regulatory materials, and all other related information into CONNECT Learning Research and resolve CONNECT Learning functionality issues Document all CONNECT Learning configurations, procedures, and business processes Test, review and improve system operations practices Coordinate and test quarterly system upgrades Run and create reports Work closely with appropriate external vendors to ensure efficient functionality of resources Maintain a current knowledge of the CONNECT Learning management system enhancements, as well as software related to the CONNECT Learning management system Audit and monitor data integrity within CONNECT Learning and run usage reports as needed Educate users on CONNECT Learning and facilitate end user training of CONNECT Learning application Record, edit and maintain webinars Administer and amend training information for the CONNECT Learning system, documenting information and updating information as needed Be a key point of contact for end users; answer inquiries and complete investigations in a timely fashion Liaise and communicate with Site Human Resources teams and business leads to ensure that site needs and requirements are being met in CONNECT Learning Support all other Oracle HCM Cloud modules including Core HR, Absence, Recruiting, Onboarding, Reporting, and Talent Education and Qualifications Post‑secondary education in human resources, information technology, or a suitable combination of education and experience 1–3 years of experience in human resources and/or learning management system support Experience with cloud‑based HCMS Experience with Oracle LMS considered an asset Experience in Human Resources operations including Human Resources project‑based work Excellent attention to detail Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to working in a professional, results‑driven, collaborative team environment Enterprising, diplomatic and proactive at solving problems Ability to interpret system needs and construct system processes Proven ability to continually adapt and learn new procedures and programs Knowledge of web‑based instruction and experience with online courses Familiarity with graphical design elements appropriate for online instruction Basic knowledge of tools such as HTML, streaming audio, video, compression methods, file types and formats Experience with content creation including video, SCORM, end‑user documents and manuals Familiarity working in a highly regulated, compliance‑focused environment Knowledge of Company values and practices and support of same Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract Comply with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations Benefits We have an inclusive and collaborative working environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and celebrates success!
